- Maulik Parekh, President and CEO, SPi Global
Maulik Parekh is the President and CEO of SPi Global, a leading Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) service provider with more than 19,000 employees in 30 facilities in North America, Latin America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
Maulik joined SPi Global in late 2009 after several years of a flourishing career with other BPO companies and BPO client companies. Since joining SPi Global, Maulik has successfully integrated PLDT’s BPO businesses under one umbrella, assembled a strong leadership team that operates three distinct business units with one corporate support group, and jumpstarted the growth of the combined entity. In 2013, he also led the company through a successful management buy-out partnering with a leading private equity firm CVC Capital Partners.
Under Maulik’s leadership, the company continues to be the most awarded BPO Company in Asia receiving such prestigious awards such as the “BPO Company of the Year” in 2011 and the “Employer of the Year” in 2014 from the International ICT Awards. Maulik was also recognized as the Philippines’ 2011 Expatriate Executive of the Year by Asia CEO Awards.
Prior to joining SPi Global, Maulik was Executive Vice President of Asia Operations for TeleTech Holdings, where he orchestrated an ambitious growth strategy that grew the company's Asian presence from 6,000 employees to over 22,000 employees across 14 sites in three years. Before his stint at TeleTech, Maulik was with Dish Network, a leading satellite TV provider in the USA, where he initiated the company's offshoring strategy in India and the Philippines, led the Direct Sales division, and managed an operational team of more than 4,000 employees.
Maulik has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Gujarat University, India and an International MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, USA.
- ZhiKui Chian, Chief Executive Officer
Under ZhiKui Chian's leadership, SPi Global’s China facility has grown to become the premier BPO & ITO provider in China. ZhiKui Chian works closely with the Board of Directors and his leadership team to realize the company’s mission of creating value for customers by delivering mission-critical solutions quickly. With years of management experience in the BPO and IT, ZhiKui Chian brings valuable skills and expertise in business development, operation management, sales, software development, IT architecture, business process, and IT strategic consulting. Prior to joining SPi Global, ZhiKui Chian was the chief operating officer of CompuPacific International China, a leading BPO solution provider in China. He was responsible for leading the company's daily operations for production, project planning, business development, financial performance, IT support, and software R&D. Prior to joining CompuPacific, he was the CEO of Osphere Inc., a software company engaged in the design and development of enterprise management software (Product Lifecycle Management). His primary responsibility was to manage Osphere's daily operations, which included product development, business development, sales and marketing. Prior to his role in Osphere Inc., ZhiKui Chian worked as a member of the electronic and high-tech market unit of Accenture. ZhiKui Chian gained extensive and in-depth experience from various projects aimed at the design, architecture, development and delivery of internet-based e-commerce and supply chain management solutions. He also took the lead in projects for several distinguished clients such as Microsoft, eBay, USPS, and NASDAQ.
ZhiKui Chian obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Science and Technology of China. He also received a Master of Science degree from Northern Arizona University, and acquired his MBA degree from W.P. Carey Business School of Arizona State University.
