CHALLENGE: Enter new markets by publishing content in new formats
A leading global scientific publisher with 55 publishing houses in roughly 20 countries in Europe, Asia, and the USA wanted to convert one of its lines of eBooks to the ePub format. This conversion would allow the publisher to expand the market for its products to new devices, such as iPads, Nook eReaders, and Mobipocket eBook devices.
Since the publisher was new to the ePub market, it decided to turn to a company with existing expertise in ePub conversions to develop the scripts it would use to perform the conversions. The publisher would then use the scripts to perform the conversions in-house.
