eBooks

SPi Global worked with a leading STM publisher on their eBooks project. About 10,000 books were processed as a part of this project. Some of the key activities we performed include applying for barcode and barcode updating on the back cover; adjusting spine, back cover and front cover; updating copyright page with ISBN; checking trim, page sequence, images, font, etc., based on a checklist; and pitstop clearing of both covers and inner work.

American Association for Cancer Research

SPi Global began working with AACR in late 2002 on the re-launch of the journal Cell Growth & Differentiation under the new title Molecular Cancer Research (MCR) to reflect the changing nature of cancer research. "With the restriction of topics to those relevant to cancer biology, Molecular Cancer Research will provide a single journal in which any scientist interested in molecular and cellular aspects of the cancer problem can find articles of interest," said journal editor, Dr. Michael B. Kastan.

American Association for the Advancement of Science

In June 2004, SPi Global was selected by AAAS to provide composition and other content production services for Science magazine. Science is published weekly and regarded internationally as the premier peer-reviewed journal of scientific discovery.
