Corporate Social Responsibility

Global Solutions. Local Partnerships.

Our global platform means more than onshore and offshore BPO. It is also an opportunity to enrich the communities where we live and work. We do this by building sustainable corporate-community partnerships that draw on the expertise and capacities of our employees and lines of business around the globe.

Our corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs are run under the SPi Technologies Foundation, a non-stock, non profit organization established in 2004. The Foundation's strategic framework is anchored on the company's vision, mission and values. It also highlights SPi Global's role in the community where we operate.

Our CSR programs are aligned with our key business verticals and leverages on our expertise and available resources. The key differentiating factor on how we execute our CSR programs is the strong employee support from our people across the globe.

In the US:
We partnered with The Susan G. Komen (SGK) Foundation for the Cure, the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all, and energize science to find the cures.

In the Philippines:
We focus our efforts in helping deprived students complete their education, develop their skills and secure a job after graduation. Apart from providing college scholarships to deserving students, the Foundation also conducts job search seminars and the computer training in its computer learning centers in various locations in the Philippines.

SPi Global also supports Gawad Kalinga (meaning, "to give care").

SPi Global and Springer Science + Business Media have an ongoing partnership with Gawad Kalinga in the SPi-Springer Sunshine Village.

We have seen the completion of 50 houses and a three-storey multi-purpose hall which houses a day care center and a computer learning center.

Gawad Kalinga has seen remarkable success in transforming Filipino slums through the "sweat equity" of its many volunteers. SPi Global clients and  employee volunteers work with the slum dwellers to rehabilitate this poverty-stricken area within the SPi Global vicinity.
