Ventus Unveils Brand New Call Center Site
ePLDT Ventus recently added to its roster of call center sites in Metro Manila. Within the walls of the PLDT building in Sampaloc, Manila, the 8th floor has become a fully-operational Ventus call center floor. The 7th floor will come to life in the early part of 2008, further expanding the site.
As Ventus Sampaloc had commenced operations, there was reason to celebrate and have the site and employees blessed, in line with Filipino tradition. The day began with a mass that was offered in the newly designated training room, followed by the blessing itself, as Fr. Antonio Yap Chiongco walked around the entire floor and all rooms, saying a prayer and blessing all areas with Holy Water.
Of course, the celebration in Ventus Sampaloc would not be complete without a smorgasbord of food, which everyone enjoyed after the blessing. The attendees had their fill while talking to colleagues, guests and friends—everyone impressed with the new site. We look forward to new business opportunities this site can bring, and anticipate the completion of the 7th floor, as it will surely become another fine addition to the Ventus family. More importantly, Site Director Paolo Isidro adds, “we would like to showcase the domestic talents, making Sampaloc an ideal environment for our employees’ career pathing.” This development is another sure sign that ePLDT Ventus is constantly growing and is here to stay, gradually becoming one of the best call center companies in the Philippines.
