Arlington Heights, ILLINOIS --- ePLDT Ventus announced that it has signed a contract this month to provide Programmers Investment Corporation (PIC) with an array of outsourced voice services, including customer care, product up-selling, order processing, and day-to-day product inquiries. The contract with ePLDT Ventus enables PIC to focus on their core business, provide excellent customer service, and introduce new products. ePLDT Ventus President Helen Marquez says, “As providing superior customer service is important to PIC, so it is for ePLDT Ventus.

The Contact Center Association of the Philippines or CCAP is one of the most well known organizations for outsourcing contact center service providers in the country. Last October 3, 2008, ePLDT Ventus became part of this prestigious organization.

Attending the induction was Joseph Verzosa, Assistant Vice-President and Business Head for Sales and Marketing and Patrick Dy, Program Transition Manager as representatives for ePLDT Ventus. The gathering started out with updates and news from CCAP, after which, the new members were introduced.

Employment opportunities now await new graduates with the recent expansion undertaken by ePLDT Ventus, a 100% Filipino owned Business Processing Outsourcer (BPO), of its Sampaloc call center site. In line with the company’s commitment to creating one thousand new jobs in 2009, the expansion of the Sampaloc site allows ePLDT Ventus to be more easily reached by interested applicants particularly those who hail from the university belt area, as it is strategically positioned near Quezon City’s Welcome Rotonda landmark.

ePLDT Ventus recently added to its roster of call center sites in Metro Manila. Within the walls of the PLDT building in Sampaloc, Manila, the 8th floor has become a fully-operational Ventus call center floor. The 7th floor will come to life in the early part of 2008, further expanding the site.
